Learn how to be an artist 5 February 2012 Pick up your pencil and start drawing everything you see around you. Draw trees, draw birds, draw buses and cars and try to take note of every minor detail. Most important of all, draw people. Take notice of people around you. Observe how they walk, how they sit, how they stand and take note of how their clothes hang from their bodies. When drawing humans, it is always preferable to construct the structure of the body first and draw it as if it had no clothes. It is not advise for the beginning artist to draw a person straight in his clothes because an understanding of the naked body beneath would make it easier for you to render the clothes outside with much more credibility. - Gerry Alanguilan http://www.laguna.net/~timawa/tips.htm
