Saintmaker is a religious folk artist specializing in Nativities, Noah's Arks, Patron Saints, and Angels. His style is Texas Hispanic with a twist: he handcarves the figures from wood, clothes them in fabric-mache and adorns them with halos, auras, crowns, and accessories made from tin. He then paints them in exquistitely bright colors. Virtually all of the materials are recycled/salvaged. His work is shown in galleries throughout Texas. Prices range from $100 to $5,000.
